1. About the Service
Roomio is an online platform that allows users to post and search room listings in Milan, focusing on sublets, takeovers and Erasmus stays. Roomio acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to any transaction or agreement between users.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Roomio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
3. Registration and Account
Creating an account is required to post listings. You must be at least 18 years old and are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
4. Listing Content
Users who post listings agree to provide accurate, complete and non-misleading information. It is prohibited to post listings that:
- —contain false or misleading information;
- —relate to properties you do not control or have the right to sublet;
- —violate local or national tenancy laws;
- —include offensive, discriminatory or illegal content.
5. Limitation of Liability
Roomio does not verify the information provided by users and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or legality of published listings. Roomio is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or from agreements reached between users.
6. Intellectual Property
The Roomio brand, logo, design and texts are the exclusive property of Roomio. Content uploaded by users (photos, texts) remains their property; by uploading it, the user grants Roomio a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
7. Suspension and Termination
Roomio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings.
8. Changes to the Terms
Roomio may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes arising from the use of Roomio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan.
